הדא היא דכתיב

דָּאI, דָּה f. (= h. זוֹ, זֹאת) this; with prefix ה, (הֲדָא) הָדָא, cmp. אָדָא I. Targ. Gen. 2:23; a. fr.Ned.41a (prov.) דְּדָא ביהוכ׳ in whom there is this (wisdom), in him there is everything. דא ודא this and that, both. Sabb.52b ד׳ וד׳ (אחת) חדא היא all sorts of rings come under the same law; a. fr.Y.Succ.I, 52c top הדא אמרה היא הדאוכ׳ this proves, v. אָדָא I. הדא היא דכתיב (abbr. הה״ד) it is this which Scripture says, thus we read. Y.Sot.I, 17b bot.; Gen. R. s. 2; a. v. fr.Y.Gitt.IV, 45d bot. introduced his lecture בדה with this.לא בְדָא not in this case, i. e. the law does not apply to this.
